The WILLIS Expedition is a long‑form, solo overland journey focused on interior routes across the United States, Western Canada, Alaska, and the Arctic. The expedition avoids coastal and population‑dense corridors, prioritizing two‑lane highways, remote regions, and terrain where preparation and reliability matter.
Interior Alaska travel — including Valdez and the Kenai Peninsula — will be completed before committing to Arctic highway routes. After completing Arctic objectives, the expedition turns east and south through Western Canada and Montana, returning home through interior western corridors.
This is not a race or a guided tour. It is a self‑supported expedition built around distance, terrain, and sustained remote travel.
Remote interior routes demand preparation, patience, and respect for distance — this expedition is built around those principles.
WILLIS Expedition Adventures is built around a simple idea: meaningful travel happens where comfort ends.
This expedition prioritizes preparation, mechanical reliability, and disciplined route planning rather than speed or attention. The objective is responsible travel, respecting distance, weather, and isolation.
The WILLIS name represents generational respect for hard work, self-reliance, and building things that last. This mission carries that mindset forward into modern overland travel.
If successful, this expedition will lead to future missions, including a planned Nepal trek to Everest Base Camp in 2027, blending endurance with modern logistics and documentation.
